Statement of Faith

  • I believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word in written form. I believe its original manuscript was uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error.

  • I believe in the one true God made up of three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, equal in deity, all possessing the attributes of God.

  • I believe that Jesus Christ God. He is true deity and true humanity united as one person. I believe he is the Living Word of John 1:1 and because he was the perfect Lamb of God, he was sent to die on the cross as atonement for sin. I believe he rose from the dead, and is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven where he continually makes intercession between God the Father and mankind.

  • Because of the original sin of Adam, I believe all mankind has sinned and is in need of a savior, and that savior is Jesus Christ.

  • I believe at the moment of salvation our human spirit is re-born, allowing us fellowship with God.

  • I believe at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and fills them with His Holy Spirit. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit seals us and guarantees our salvation. The believer therefore cannot loose their salvation. However, the filling of the Holy Spirit can be lost when a believer sins, but regained when he repents and confesses that sin. When the believer sins, they are out of fellowship with God, but remains a child of God. Fellowship is restored upon confession of sin. (1 John 1:9)

  • All believers in Jesus Christ, at the moment of death, enters into heaven for eternity. Those believers who walked in God’s truth and light and allowed the Holy Spirit to transform them by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2) will be greatly rewarded while those believers who walked in the flesh will suffer a loss of rewards but will still be saved (1 Corinthians 3:12-15)

  • Upon death, all unbelievers are sent to a place called Torments to await the White Throne Judgment. They will not be judged for their sins, because all sins were paid for on the cross. Instead, they will be judged according to their works (Revelation 20:11-15), and because their works cannot meet the righteous requirements of God, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire at the end of time. God does not send unbeliever’s to Torments as he wants all men to be saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4) Because unbelievers refuse God’s gift of salvation, God has no choice but to honor their decision, resulting in separation from God for eternity.

  • There will be a day known only to God, when Jesus Christ will return to call out his church (body of believers) and meet them in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Afterwards, there will be a period of seven years of tribulations to fulfill the prophecy of the 7th Week of Daniel (Daniel 9) At the end of the seven years, Jesus Christ will return to earth, with his bride (the church) and set up his kingdom for 1000 years. During this time all church age believers will reign on earth with Christ. At the end of the 1000 years, time will end and all creation will be made new and those who are believers in Jesus Christ will live their eternity in heaven. Those who refuse to believer in Jesus Christ will live their eternity in the Lake of Fire.
